Inter-Africa Transport Company

Inter – Africa Transport Corporation echoes the assumptions and conclusions of both government and other role players suggesting that, one of the major challenges facing public transport is lack of integration and/or mutual dependency. 2. While it is acknowledged that the public transport system transports majority of the country’s working class, it is dismaying to note that there are no benefits packaged for this segment of the market. The modular benefits that are there are only for certain segments of the market. 3. Although free enterprise should be the driver for this program or programs we believe that a typical socialist program should drive the system enabling the user certain benefits which in turn will allow for controlled sustainability of the private as well as public enterprises that are driving these operations. Evidently, until we have an integrated transport system, facilitating benefits will remain a dream and a prejudice for the commuting public. It is against this backdrop that Inter – Africa Transport Corporation hereinafter referred to as IATC, was established in 2007 with the sole purpose of occupying what we refer to as existing and untapped opportunities.
