Leading European integrated agency 60 Layers of Cake, winner of 5 Cannes Lions, has opened it’s doors in Cape Town on the 1st March 2010. The Cape Town office has joined the growing network of offices already located in London, Amsterdam, Istanbul, Tokyo and New York. Heading up the Cape Town office will be Ben Wren and Michael van den Heerik, who both left The Jupiter Drawing Room in January of 2010, founding partner and executive creative director Rodger Beekman and creative director Hans van Nood from 60 Layers of Cake Amsterdam. The success of 60 Layers of Cake has come from years of challenging existing agency structures and creative development. This unique approach to business has been penned 'collaborative creativity.' We have no departments, just 'work teams' made up of the best people to do the job, a few unexpected people to make sure they are strategically inspired and all avenues have been explored and at least one member from the client in order to truly connect and collaborate with client and product.
